The Field Mapping page allows you to map the columns from your template to fields in Salesforce. When loading the page, any template header names that match a Salesforce field name will be automatically mapped. These should be reviewed for accuracy. For every row that is not mapped or requires changing, use the steps below.

Step 1: Map File Columns to Salesforce Fields
- Press Map to Salesforce for the row you’d like to map.
- Use the
Field Finder to search and filter the list of fields. - Select the field from the list. The field list is scrollable.
- Repeat for each file column you want to import.
Note: Fields shown in the Field Finder are structured in the following pattern:
Field Name | External ID Field Name* | Object Name (Master/Detail).
*External ID Field Name is only shown if the field selected in a relationship field. Choose the correct External ID Field to tell Impowr what data will be inserted into the field.

Step 2: Change an Existing Field Mapping or Remove an Existing Field Map
- For the row that needs changing, select the field under Object Fields column to reopen the Field Finder.
- For changing the current selection, use the Field Finder search to filter the list of fields and select the desired item from the list.
- For removing a map, select –Click to Unmap– found at the top on the list.
