Every user (including administrators) that will use Impowr need to be assigned the Impowr Managed Import User PSG permission set group. This permission set group includes access to the File Import Component and authorises the user to authenticate with the Impowr service. Follow the steps below to grant your users access.
Step 1. Locate Impowr Managed Import User PSG
- Click on the gear icon in the top-right corner of Salesforce and select Setup.
- In the Quick Find box on the left, enter Permission Set Groups, and select the item.
Note: The package contains a Permission Set with a similar name. It is important to add the Permission Set Group, and not the Permission Set.
- Find Impowr Managed Import User PSG in the Permission Set Group list and select it.
Step 2. Assign the Permission Set Group
- On the Impowr Managed Import User PSG detail page, click the Manage Assignments button.
- Click the Add Assignments button, and select the checkbox next to each User you want to grant Impowr access to.
- Then click Next and then Assign.
